Vanessa Carlton has a new album coming out on October 9th entitled "Heroes and Thieves." Vanessa has been busy over the last couple years working on this new record and touring with the legendary Stevie Nicks. She recently played a show at the Roxy on Sunset and was joined on stage with Stevie to perform a duet off the new album. The first single is called "Nolita Fairytale" and is now available on iTunes. Rogue Wave "Asleep At Heaven's Gate"
Rogue Wave returns with a new album on September 18th. They are out on the road in support of "Asleep At Heaven's Gate" opening for Feist on the East Coast and will headline a tour along the West Coast in October. The will play in San Diego at the Casbah Oct. 10th and in Los Angeles at the El Rey on Oct. 11th. The first single is called "Lake Michigan" and is already available for download at iTunes.

The DVD includes footage from the US to Europe to Japan and back with interviews from each member and fans along the way. The CD features 12 full length tracks of a live show from the final night of tour with guest appearances from: Tristan Prettyman, Marc Broussard, and Donavan Frankenreiter. G. Love and Special Sauce are back on tour with Ozomatli and Slightly Stoopid this August. They’ll be hitting amphipheaters including: Costa Mesa on August 4th, Santa Barbara on August 5th, Las Vegas on August 14th, and Phoenix on August 15th.
