On April 7, 2009 Concord Records will release a 21-song anthology of Ray Charles’ most influential recordings for the Atlantic and ABC-Paramount labels, entitled Genius: The Ultimate Ray Charles Collection. The album will feature hits such as “I Got a Woman,” “Busted,” “Georgia on My Mind,” “Hit the Road Jack,” and “I Can’t Stop Loving You.” All tracks are digitally remastered from the original tapes, and the album is packaged in an embossed digipack and presented with a 24-page collector’s book of rare photos and notes.

Departure: Recharged hits stores April 7th!

On April 7, 2009 Jesse McCartney will release a bonus edition of his 2008 album Departure on Hollywood Records. The re-dubbed Departure: Recharged features a remix of “How Do You Sleep?” featuring Ludacris. The new album also features four new bonus tracks co-written by McCartney including “Body Language,” “In My Veins,” “Oxygen,” and “Crash and Burn.”
