ALBUM REVIEW - NEW JOHN MELLENCAMP IN STORES 7/15

On July 15th, Hear Music will be releasing legendary singer-songwriter John Mellencamp's latest LP, "Life, Death, Love and Freedom," marking his twentieth album to date. Entirely produced by T-Bone Burnett (who's most recent work includes the Tony Bennett and Kd Lang collaboration album, as well as the soundtracks to O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Walk The Line), the new album from Mellencamp has been summarized by the man himself as a canvas of "modern electric folk songs." "Life, Death, Love and Freedom" will be the first ever release in the CODE format, a new audio technology created by T-Bone Burnett and his engineers that records high-definition files essentially indistinguishable from the original studio master tapes. This album is quintessential Mellencamp in immaculate quality, something that his many followers will thoroughly enjoy. CLICK HERE to pre-order at AMAZON.COM!
