Rogue Wave returns with a new album on September 18th. They are out on the road in support of "Asleep At Heaven's Gate" opening for Feist on the East Coast and will headline a tour along the West Coast in October. The will play in San Diego at the Casbah Oct. 10th and in Los Angeles at the El Rey on Oct. 11th. The first single is called "Lake Michigan" and is already available for download at iTunes.

There is an exciting loveliness about the new Rogue Wave album. They manage to be simultaneously refreshing and familiar with memorable, Shins-like hooks. The new single, "Lake Michigan" boasts the same addictive, swirling grandeur as "Bird on a Wire" from the 2005 Descended Like Vultures LP, and we witness a broad array of emotion and attitude throughout the album. I can't wait for its release!
