Miami, FL (November 28, 2007) – International superstar Andrea Bocelli returns to the U.S. for select concert dates beginning this weekend at the famed MGM Grand in Las Vegas (December 1st) and wrapping up December 15th in Anaheim. This not-to-be-missed show will feature the celebrated tenor performing some of the world’s most famous opera arias as well as Pop and love songs from his greatest hits collection, “LO MEJOR DE ANDREA BOCELLI – VIVERE,” which is now in stores under the Siente Music label, the joint venture of two global entertainment companies, Venevision International, part of the Cisneros Group, and Universal Music Latino, the Latin music division of Universal Music Group.

Joining Andrea Bocelli on tour is long-time conductor Steven Mercurio and special guest Tony Award®-winner Heather Headley, who sang the duet “The Prayer” with Bocelli, on his live DVD concert, “UNDER THE DESERT SKY” (Siente Music), which is also currently available in stores.

Throughout his sold-out U.S. tour last Fall, Bocelli received rave reviews for demonstrating confidence and mastery in both Classical and Pop worlds. “His tone was smooth and brimmed with emotion… he owned Madison Square Garden,” celebrated the New York Post. The Sun Sentinel concurred stating, “Bocelli’s singing moves people… He brought suave phrasing and affecting emotion to an arrangement of Italian songs.” The Hollywood Reporter rejoiced, “[Bocelli] brings a passion and joy to such familiar [classical] pieces,” proclaiming, “It was a triumphant appearance.”

The airing of his most recent PBS Special, “Vivere: Andrea Bocelli Live in Tuscany,” which premiered in New York this past Thanksgiving weekend, will now be broadcasted in excess of 500 times in more than 200 markets across the country. Joining Andrea Bocelli in the PBS Special are “grandissimo sassofonista” Kenny G, trumpeter Chris Botti, piano virtuoso Lang Lang, Italian pop star Eliza, and legendary musician, songwriter and producer David Foster. And lending this talented vocals are everyone’s favorite divas Sarah Brightman, Heather Headley and Laura Pausini.

Among the telecast’s musical highlights are the song that launched Bocelli’s career, “Il mare calmo della sera,” and the one that brought him international stardom, “Time to Say Goodbye,” the latter in duet with Sarah Brightman; Laura Pausini joining him for “Vive Ya” (Vivere); Bocelli and Heather Headley reprising the popular “Vivo per lei,“ plus several new selections from the just-released “LO MEJOR DE ANDREA BOCELLI – VIVERE.” Also featured is a meltingly romantic medley of songs from his first complete Spanish-language album, “AMOR” (Siente Music), that includes “Bésame mucho” and “Somos novios.” (Attached please find an updated schedule of broadcast times and markets.)

Released earlier this month, “LO MEJOR DE ANDREA BOCELLI – VIVERE” marks more than a decade of chart-topping albums that has made him a household name and beloved cultural figure the world over. The album features selections from Bocelli’s wildly popular recordings including “ROMANZA,” certified four-times Platinum, “SOGNO,” certified two-times Platinum, and “AMOR,” which surpassed Latin Platinum status just months after its release.

One of the highlights of the album is its first promotional single, “Vive Ya,” a captivating duet with Latin singing sensation Laura Pausini, which the duo brilliantly performed during the recent Latin Grammys ceremony in Las Vegas; others include “The Prayer,” another duet made famous with Celine Dion, and the more recent Bocelli hit “Besame mucho,” among others. Several new tracks are also exclusively available on “VIVERE,” including new compositions by the renowned and accomplished writer/producer David Foster. Other notable guests on the disc include the acclaimed classical pianist Lang Lang and world renowned saxophonist Kenny G.

With the release of his greatest hits collection, the nationwide airing of his PBS Special, and in particular his concert tour, Bocelli promises to give fervent followers and new fans alike a spectacular evening of the very best -- soaring arias and passionate love songs from around the world, reaffirming his status as one of the most celebrated tenors, and romantic voices alive today.
