World renowned and 6 time Grammy nominee Amy Winehouse will perform via satellite link-up to the 50th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10.
Broadcast live from a London studio, Amy will make her hugely anticipated return to the stage.
Amy is nominated for an amazing 6 Grammy Awards at Sunday’s ceremony, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Female Performance for 'Rehab', Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album for Back to Black. This is unrivalled for a female British artist.
While she had hoped to join the star-studded line-up in person in Los Angeles, she is thrilled to have the chance to be a part of the show.
“I’m raring to go and really excited to be performing at my first Grammy Awards,” says Amy, “I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last couple of weeks. I’m really sorry I can’t be there but I appreciate that I'm being given a second chance via satellite. ”
To prepare for the performance, Amy will be leaving the rehabilitation clinic today where she has been a resident for 2 weeks. She is feeling great, looking healthy and looking forward to doing what she does best.
